AI-Powered Travel Agency Automation System

Project Overview

We built a B2B SaaS platform for the travel industry (inbound land operators and travel agencies) that integrates quoting, reservations, and operations management. International travel agencies can submit quote requests, create itineraries, confirm bookings, and process payments, while operators, partners, and administrators manage events from their own dedicated workspaces in a multi-tenant B2B platform.

When agents from Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, and other countries log in, a dashboard displays active itineraries, pending payments, confirmed bookings, and upcoming events at a glance. Agents can browse recommended packages (Jeju, Seoul, Busan, Tongyeong, etc.) by theme, create new itineraries, or book hotels individually through an integrated shopping experience.

An AI chatbot automatically references quote-based context to instantly respond to agency inquiries about payment channels, refund policies, and room changes. Complex requests that AI cannot handle are escalated in real time to the assigned operator, enabling a seamless AI-to-human handoff within a single conversation channel.

Confirmed schedules, pending approvals, confirmed bookings, total passengers, total tour costs, and procurement issues are aggregated as KPIs. A Gantt view by tour code visualizes assigned operators, guides, accommodations, procurement details, headcount, and costs by date. An upcoming event D-day panel prioritizes imminent schedules, with switchable views including monthly, daily, Gantt, calendar, and daily deposits.

Partner hotels monitor today's occupancy, weekly revenue, upcoming reservations, and pending updates in real time from their own dashboard, managing weekly inventory by room type (Deluxe Ocean View Twin, Standard Double, Hanok Suite) in a calendar view. Inventory is automatically deducted when agencies create itineraries, and reservation details including tour code, agency, nationality, check-in/out, and amount are visible at a glance. Monthly auto-settlement deposits funds directly, with monthly and per-booking settlement details and statement downloads all completed within the hotel portal.
